So this is the last night of our trip and I’m at least two
entries behind. I’ll try my best to
bring the writings to a close when we return.
However, I don’t always have the best track record on that, so please
forgive me if I don’t. You’ve probably
noticed that a lot of my entries weren’t edited, but I will definitely try to
fix that part at least. We also have tons of pictures to sift through upon our return and we'll post them somewhere.
For those of you that read along with us, thanks for joining
us on our whirlwind tour of New Zealand’s North and South Islands. We’ve already begun mapping out our return
trip because we’ve had such a wonderful time with such fantastic weather almost
the entire trip. After only 1 day of
rain during our 15 day stay, I’m not looking forward to several more weeks
(maybe months) of rain back in the Northwest.
Well, we have to finish packing and get to bed. Enjoy some pictures of our last two days – A Milford
Sound cruise and a day in Queenstown with a side trip to Glenorchy. Both are stunningly beautiful locations. Oh, and we finally got the kea encounter I wanted to have. They really are pretty darn cheeky!

Only one more day...wonderful...I am sure you will miss the sun...but they are expecting 72F and sunny in Seattle and 81F in Ellensburg on Sunday...so at least you will bring the sun with you...smile
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be the best day so far here this spring. We'll try to bring some of the hot over on Sunday when we bring Kona back !
ReplyDeleteWish I had my peas planted........
